Invitation to International bid for 2,000 MT Aluminum Sows

Almahdi Aluminum Corporation (AAC) intends to hold a bid for selling (export) 2,000MT high grade Aluminum Sows, P1020 (99.7%).
Explanatory Notes:
1- Subject: 2,000MT high grade Aluminum Sows, P1020 (min 99.7%)
2- Commitment: This offer does not in itself constitute a binding obligation on the part of the seller to sell. This obligation will only come into force after conclusion of the supply contract and the Seller is fully authorized to accept or reject any proposals.
3-Bid’s Guarantee: the bid guarantee is € 65,000 (Sixty five Thousands Euro) or equivalent value in Rials. This can be provided in the form of an extendable bank guarantee. The bank guarantee is to be provided in a sealed and stamped envelope marked ‘A’. Bids without, or with invalid bank guarantee, will be rejected.
4- Delivery Time: From the day that contract will be effective as soon as possible up to Four months, for each month will be 500 Tons. The validity of Contract is Six months.
5- Delivery Term: FOB Bandar- Abbas, Iran, 500 MT Per Month
6-Bid’s Format: Bids must be based on LME official cash settlement price plus a Premium in USD.
This is to be presented on the Buyer’s official letter- head, signed by an authorized signatory, and provided in a sealed and stamped envelope, Marked ‘B’. Basic price should be based on during ten working days before issuance of Warehouse Holding certificate and proposed prices should be above the basic price.
7-Quotation Period: Average of LME price cash settlement during the ten working days before issuance of Warehouse Holding Certificate + Premium.
8-Payment Term: T/T
9- Closing Date: Bids must reach to AAC Trade Commission office on or before 12:00 hours, local time, on Monday the 20th of Sep 2010.Late bids shall be rejected.
10-Address: Bids documents (Envelopes A&B) must be sent to the following address: Trade Committee Office, km 18 Shaheed Rajaei Port Road Bandar- Abbas, Iran.

11-Other Terms and conditions:
• The provisional, deficient and unsigned proposals and those which are received after deadline are invalid.
• AAC has the right to accept or reject any of proposals
• Bids without bid guarantee will not be considered.
